In April and May 2020, I led a co-production social media campaign for Whipple Observatory to encourage the public to capture and submit photos of the moon that were then paired with educational information about Earth's nearest neighbor.

In April 2020, I launched the “La Luna” two-month social media co-production program at Whipple Observatory to encourage stargazers around the country to capture and submit their photos of Earth’s nearest neighbor, the moon. Each photo was overlaid with program tags and featured on Facebook and Instagram, along with educational facts about the moon, its phases, and its role in our lives on Earth. Launched in tandem with the launch of Whipple Observatory’s Instagram account, the program quickly gained in popularity, and helped to boost the Observatory to nearly 100 followers in a short time period.
